Requirements to Join
- The decision to join Sandpipers must be made within three (3) months of the spin-off date from Naples Newcomers or another Sister club.
- You must be a Member of Good Standing in Newcomers or another Sister club and must contact your spinoff coordinator in your current club to request that she notify Sandpipers as soon as possible of such status.
- Current members of Sandpipers can also sponsor new members who do not belong to Newcomers or Sister clubs.
- Please submit your application no sooner than 60 days before you want to join, e.g. if you want to join in January, begin the registration process in November.
The Steps
- Application for membership should be made online at www.sandpipersofnaples.com. Click on the "Join" button at the bottom of the home page.
- Please complete all sections of the application, which will become part of our membership database. For "Date Joined" enter the month and year you wish to join.
- You must read and agree with
- Our Membership Vice President will contact you to complete the processing of your application and to answer any questions you may have.
- Once we have confirmed that you are a member in good standing of your current club or are sponsored by a Sandpipers member, you will be eligible to join.
- Your application will be complete when the initiation fee and annual membership dues are remitted. If you join in September, October, or November, you pay 1/2 of the Annual Dues for the year in which you join. If you join in December, you pay the Annual Dues amount for the following year.
- The Membership Vice President will assist you in paying your dues and initiation fee, which must be done on our website. Please have your credit card information available to go through this process. The Membership Vice President will destroy any information you give her about your credit card when the process is complete. Likewise, our website does not retain this information.
- After your payment is complete, you will receive a member username and password for full use of our website. You will be listed as a full member, able to register for all Sandpipers activities, and receive all e-mail blasts.
- You will be officially welcomed into membership at an installation ceremony at a Sandpipers business luncheon.
